Our goal at Myxa Care, is to support and help you find the right type of housing that best fits your needs and allow you to live a life of independence and choice.

Disability supported housing provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to live as independently as possible, while still having access to necessary support and assistance.

SDA is funded through the NDIS and can be provided in a variety of settings, including group homes, boarding houses, and self-contained apartments. The specific features of SDA may vary depending on the needs of the individual, but it may include features such as wheelchair ramps, grab rails, and modified bathrooms to assist with mobility and personal care.

SDA Provider

At Myxa Care, we are a NDIS registered provider, providing a wide range of specialised services including SIL and SDA houses, to help people with disabilities find suitable accommodation and support services.

We have a number of properties across Melbourne for NDIS participants, as well as opportunities to work with SDA Developers.

As an SDA Provider, our services include:

- Registering the SDA dwelling with the NDIS

- Developing the SDA Service Agreement

- Rental residential tenancy agreement

- Claiming SDA payments from NDIS monthly and paying SDA owner within 5 business days

- Receiving rent from the SDA residents

- Upholding residential rights of SDA residents through compliance with RTA

- Managing and advertising vacancies to fill the SDA with NDIS participants efficiently

- Notifying residents of changes to service agreement

- Reporting maintenance and repairs requests to property owner

- Organising repair works and submitting claims to NDIS for participant specific damage to home
