Short-term accommodation STA is funded support within your NDIS plan that allows you to stay away from your usual home for up to 28 days per year. This can be in various settings, including respite care facilities, hotels, or accessible holiday rentals.

MTA is funded support within your NDIS plan that allows you to stay away from your usual home for up to 90 days per year. It's typically used when your permanent housing is being modified or built and you need temporary accommodation.
